External Agent Specific
Many AIM/POMS Users have External Agents or Money Managers and have to key these trades in manually to their AIM/POMS system for Position Keeping and Analytics.
The Inforalgo Managed Service can collect these trades and upload them to Bloomberg on the Client’s behalf thereby saving time and money as well as reducing risk. This is done by collecting the trades over the internet by secure methods and loading them up to Bloomberg via Inforalgo’s own leased lines.
Trade information (from single or multiple sources) to be sent to AIM/POMS is obtained from External Agents and submitted to the Inforalgo middleware. Agents often have different layouts and Inforalgo will, on request, map from this incoming format to the Standard Format using its Mapping tool. End-of-day trade files containing only currency spot trades can also be submitted.
The intraday cancel/corrects are also included as long as the file format is consistent and in the same format as that provided previously and Bloomberg is able to accept cancel/corrects for that instrument. Next day cancel/corrects are handled in the same way as intraday.
When an acknowledgement is received back from Bloomberg it contains the Bloomberg transaction Number that is then loaded back onto the database table.
