How The Service Works

Users and client’s of the Bloomberg Trade Order Management System (AIM) identify Straight Through Processing (STP) functionality they require as a service.

Inforalgo’s Managed Service transfers the requirement for day-to-day operations and responsibility to a dedicated team of professionals. The burden and costs related to Infrastructure, communications, management and software can be delivered by Inforalgo with our software as a service (SaaS)

For these client’s Inforalgo now offers a Managed Service that provides:
• Immediate Switch-on to Service: Time scales can be significantly reduced without waiting for staff availability, resources and communications to be delivered, installed and configured
• No changes to IT Infrastructure required: No hardware, software or communication networks. There is just a simple Internet Browser connection to make use of Inforalgo’s Web Viewer
• Real-time viewing of all data: Using the Web Viewer with rejections and failures notified via email. Corrections can then be made by authorized staff, where required
• Scalable & cost effective: With peak periods and market changes handled for you
• A safe choice; With many clients already using the service and willing to be references
• Easy to Use: As there is almost nothing to do with Inforalgo running the whole service

Examples of where a Managed Service can save AIM Clients time and money include:
• New Users (e.g. New Desks, small institutions) with-out the necessary IT resources or infrastructures
• External Agents; Clients who have External Agents or Money Managers and require the trades carried out with these partners to be uploaded to AIM/POMS
• Global Exchanges: Clients who wish to connect to Global Exchanges that do not have STP facilities (but do allow downloading of executed trades to a csv file or spreadsheet) and there is a requirement to upload these without any IT infrastructure
• Low Volumes; New or existing Clients with a low volume requirement to load executed trades to Bloomberg from in-house systems
• Short Term Requirement; Clients with a long term in-house IT strategy but who wish to install a man-aged service as a quick, short term option until their own infrastructure is ready
• Cost Savings; Clients where a managed service can work out less expensive than an in-house IT infra-structure thereby saving money
